With the successful Brighton Shopping Centre conclusion, we now prepare for the final weeks of the year.
10th November: Fund Raiser, Lion Hearts Learning / Artist MIKE BARR Demo.
8th December: AGM and Christmas Celebration

Two week exhibition at Brighton Shopping Centre concluded: 96 artworks sold……….
…………our last exhibition for the year ‘MAG SUMMER EXHIBITION’ opening December 1st at the Marino Community Hall Gallery. More information to follow.
We have been making purchases to enhance our new space in the Marino Community Hall, including investing in some new table cloths.

Brighter and easy on the eye with plastic finish, for easy wipe down.

Looking good and enjoying our surroundings.
Settling into our new venue and sorting out our activities for the rest of 2025.
We love our new space and are continuing with our Portrait Sessions on the first Monday of each month.


Preparing for our October exhibition at Brighton Shopping Centre over the next several week and have some exciting plans for activities later in the year. MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW SOON.
Marion Art Group ‘Coastal’ Exhibition is on display in the new gallery space in Marino Hall. You can buy on Mondays 9.30 to 11.30 or by contacting us through our website to make arrangements for payment and pickup. The Exhibition will continue for the next several weeks.

We are how into our new accommodation and enjoying the large bright and breezy space in the main hall, for our studio sessions on Monday mornings. Visitors are welcome 9.30 to 11.30 if you would like to see what we do.
The Bayside Shopping Centre Glenelg Exhbition, was an exciting success with 105 artworks sold over the two weeks just before Mothers Day.

Now we turn our attention to our move to the newly built Marino Community Hall in a few weeks time. Our last Session at the Seacliff United Church Hall will take place on Monday 2nd June. They have been wonderful hosts to our group for well over two years. A great deal of planning and work has taken place lately to try to make a smooth transition of our art group into the stunning new facility.
THE OFFICIAL OPEN DAY OF THE MARINO COMMUNITY HALL, IS ON SATURDAY 28TH JUNE.

We have made a strong start to the year with a number of new members applying for membership.
Our first Exhibition of the year is at the Bayside Village Shopping Centre, Glenelg.
The Exhibition will be from Monday 28 to Saturday 10th May. More details to follow soon.
Much planning and organisation goes into each of our Shopping Centre Exhibitions. Below shows our entry-form submission, ‘procession’. It was a busy day for the Marion Art Group.

The members of MAG are back to start a new year and it has certainly been a ‘hot start.’…. with a program of activities published very early and some challenging weather to deal with.
We look forward to an interesting year which includes our first 10 screen exhibition for many years at Bayside Village SC, Glenelg. Starting at the end of April. ( more details to follow)
Our move back into the newly built Marino Community Hall is now fast approaching. As the final stages of the build, ‘fit out’ and finishing off are completed, we are starting to plan our transition back into our home of over 30 years.

2nd December is our wind-up for the year. This includes our annual AGM, Christmas Celebrations and Display of artwork on the theme of ‘Limited Pallett’
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
We start again at the Seacliff Uniting Church Hall on Monday 13th January.
