At this time of the year, as usual, we have welcomed a number of new members to our Art Group. Our next important activity is the hanging of our SALA exhibition the week before the August 1st starting point of the South Australian Living Artist Festival

………With just over a month to go, MAG will be opening our first SALA Exhibition for several years, at the beginning of August 2026…………….
* Venue: Marino Community Hall
*Open 9 – 12 noon most days throughout August.
*The on-site ‘Little Nest’ Cafe will also be open during these hours.

Monday 20th April: Prominent SA artist Mike Barr presented a very interesting demonstration. The scene was set in great surroundings at the Marino Community Hall with fabulous coffee supplied by onsite cafe, Little Nest. Wonderful morning nibbles supplied by our always hardworking committee, who again worked very hard to provide a very enjoyable Monday morning activity.

Marion Art Group members have been keen to get back to our wonderful new venue at the Marino Community Hall after the Christmas and New Year break.
We have now enjoyed three Monday Studio Sessions during January and have already welcomed several new members this year.
Our numbers are at the maximum we can accept for the time being. Further interested artists will need to go on a waiting list.

We have been making purchases to enhance our new space in the Marino Community Hall, including investing in some new table cloths.

We love our new space and are continuing with our Portrait Sessions on the first Monday of each month.

We are how into our new accommodation and enjoying the large bright and breezy space in the main hall, for our studio sessions on Monday mornings. Visitors are welcome 9.30 to 11.30 if you would like to see what we do.
